Digital Radiography
Our office uses digital x-rays which are computer generated, allowing Dr. Tieken to quickly view your images on a video monitor. Digital x-rays require up to 90% less radiation than with conventional film x-rays and can easily be manipulated by enlarging, highlighting, magnifying, or contrasting the films. This means cavities are more easily detected than with older systems and can be corrected sooner and easier for our patients.
PerioProtect System - Eliminating Disease
Keeping your teeth clean and free of disease is a key part of maintaining your overall health. Dr. Tieken uses the Perio Tray®, part of the PerioProtect System to help you achieve optimal health. The Perio Tray is used to administer the medicated solution Dr. Tieken prescribes for you, allowing it to reach deep crevices and pockets. Perio Tray has been approved by the FDA and is comfortable, convenient, and easy to use. Digital Impressions
Digital Impressions replace the traditional tray-and-putty method, allowing increased accuracy in creating and processing your dental restorations. A digital scan of your teeth and bite is taken by Dr. Tieken; then the 3-D image is used to create a model of your dentition and the model is sent to the lab to create your restoration. With this state-of-the-art system, you can feel confident that you will receive the best fit possible!
